!ADOPTED! Zoe - Black & Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Zoe is a 1 1/2 year old Rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we're fostering.

She is a friendly female Black and Tan. She the happiest curled up on a mat near wherever you are, or if you'll let her, in your lap. She's heart clear, but has a thyroid condition that requires twice daily medication. She is completely house trained.

Now she's fitting right in with the pack and will curl up on the mats or the recliner with the others, or with you on the couch or recliner if you'll let her. She loves to give kisses in return for a little petting and will continue to do so as long as you let her. If you don't mind it, she'll climb up in bed with you at night, (we have stairs leading up to ours), and happily snooze away until you get up in the morning.

She walks well on a leash, but can use some obedience training. She does recognize her name and will come when called. She's not food aggressive, but like all cavaliers, will eat all she can get.

She went to the vet's today, got all her shots, is heart clear, and had her thyroid blood levels checked due to having hypothyroidism. Everything looked good, so she'll continue on her usual medications and get another blood test in 6 months.

She's took an accompanied 2 hour flight today and is now in Champlain, IL. She flew very well and seemed to enjoy the flight. There she will get spayed and go to her forever home. They are a family that already own an older Cavalier and are familiar with hypothyroidism.

She has gone to her forever home is right in place with mom, dad and Knightley, a Blenheim Cavalier brother.
