Lucky is a approximately 3 Year Old male Blenheim Shelter turn-over. OK. That's really not going to be his name. He doesn't have one yet and we'll wait a few days to see if we can think of a name that fits. I called him Lucky, cause he was. Stunk so bad that I had to roll the windows down while driving back. Definitely the first thing on the list of things to do is give him a bath. Stunk so bad that I had to roll the windows down while driving back. Definitely the first thing on the list of things to do is give him a bath. After the bath, he'll be going to the vet. He's severely under weight, flea and tick infested, can barely walk on his back legs and has a bloody mucus when he sneezes. He's had his bath, one good shampooing with regular dog shampoo and another with flea and tick shampoo. Afterwards he went to doggie jail. :-) We've got him quarantined by himself away from the other dogs, and any area they go into, until he's got a release from the Vet. If he's got a respiratory infection, he'll remain in there until he's clear. He's done very good here. He has not had an accident in the house since he got here. Yips a little bit when he sees us walk by, but otherwise is very quiet. Friendly to us and wants to go meet the other dogs here, but can't just yet. Walks well on a leash without pulling hard at all. He does like to watch the cars and will follow them with his eyes until they're out of sight. He's over all his infections, has gained weight and muscle tone. He's a vocal energetic young man. He'll bark at the door when he needs to go outside to potty.
