!Adopted! Hershey - Black & Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Hershey is a male Black & Tan 7year old owner turn-in.

Hershey loves attention and will snuggle up to you if you let him. He likes nothing more that laying in your lap as you watch TV.

He went to the vet the other day and got all his immunizations, is heartworm clear, but weighs 37.5 lbs. He also has an eye infection, so is on twice daily eye drops for 2 weeks. Heart and lungs were clear, no murmur heard. He does have labored breathing, which will be taken care of by getting some of his weight off.

As large as he is, he’s still very active. He really enjoys getting into a chase that involves ear and tail grabbing, then taking off and running in a different direction. It’s cute when there’s two or three cavaliers running through the house. It’s crazy when there’s six to eight running through.

Took Hershey to the vet for a quick checkup and he's doing great. His weight is down to 32lbs.

He's lost even more weight. I can't say how much, since I haven't taken him to be weighed.

He's found a wonderful home with a couple, their daughter and their Sheltie. Their Sheltie and Hershey hit it off, running around the backyard chasing each other and then when they got inside, playing tug of war with a tug toy.
