Jewels is a 7 year old, born on 01/2003. Rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we're fostering. She is a friendly female Tri Color. She the happiest curled up on a mat near wherever you are. She's got a grade 1 heart murmur and is a little over weight, so is on a diet for now. She is completely house trained. She walks very well on a leash and rides well in a car. She will gladly go where you want her to. She recognizes her name and will come when called. She'll let you know if you leave her locked in someplace, but otherwise you'll not know she's around. She's up to date on all her shots, but has a bald butt due to chewing and scratching. When she came in she had fleas under her tail and between her back legs. We've treated her and they are all gone. Now we're working on getting her some hair back and getting rid of her dry skin. She's getting CQ10 and wild salmon oil with her meals. That is helping with her "dandruff" from the hairless dry skin. Jewels has gotten comfortable and is starting to play a little bit. She doesn't like to get rough or jump around, but does like to play "Get your paw". She's a snuggle bug/couch potato and loves to curl up next to you or on your lap. She's got quite a bit of her hair back and her dry skin has gone away. She just needs to go to the vet for her spay and she'll be ready for her forever home. She's been to the vet and been spayed. They checked her over and gave her a clean bill of health. She's loves attention, but is not aggressive about getting it. She'll come over and stand by you, occasionally lightly scratching at your leg with one paw. She like to sleep in the big bed, but doesn't get up on her own. She'll stretch out next to you in your arm pit with her head on your shoulder if you'll let her. She's found her forever home.
