Bentley is a 7 Year Old Tri colored male owner turn-in.
He's a really sweet boy. He fit right in with our other dogs.
He's well behaved, but somewhat skittish around people he doesn't know. He finds himself a spot out of the way and settles in. Once he gets comfortable with you he's a lovebug. He got comfortable with my son and me right off.
He settled right in with the other dogs we have here. Bentley seemed to really enjoy sleeping on the "Big" bed last night. He slept on the pillows right next to my head. We have stairs leading onto the bed and he didn't have any problem going up or down them.
He's settled in very well. When any of us come in the door, Bentley greets us and wants some attention. If our big dogs are there, he waits until they're done then comes over. During the evening, he curls up under my desk on the floor, even though I've got several mats all around my desk.
Bentley is definitely house trained and will go out to do his business. He doesn't always go in the yard, sometimes he will go on the patio, but he does go outside.
He severely needed his teeth cleaned and needed to be neutered. We took him to the vet. They informed us that he does have a grade 1/2 heart murmur. We worked with the cardiologist and he recommended we monitor it, but nothing special right now. He did say to put him on antibiotics 2 weeks prior to the cleaning/surgery and 30 days afterwards.
Bentley has been neutered and had his teeth cleaned. His teeth were bad in need of the cleaning and he had 11 pulled that were too far gone to save. His breath is a lot better. Check out his pearly white teeth in the last photo.
Since he's out of pain from the teeth, he's become a lot more sociable and active.
