Penny

ADOPTED! Penny - Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Penny is a 7 1/2 year old Rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we're fostering.

She is a friendly female Blenheim. She the happiest curled up on a mat near wherever you are. She's healthy and heart clear. She has some minor socialization problems and is not completely house trained, so she has to be watched closely when she's loose in the house. After a couple of days, she's picked up on the house training routine our other dogs use and so far has no more accidents. Her socialization issues have resolved themselves. I'm assuming it was due to the new place and dogs.

Now she's fitting right in with the pack and will curl up on the mats or the recliner with the others, or with you on the couch or recliner if you'll let her. She loves to give kisses in return for a little petting and will continue to do so as long as you let her.

She walks very well on a leash and will gladly go where you want her to. She recognizes her name and will come when called. She'll let you know if you leave her locked in someplace, but otherwise you'll not know she's around. She's not food aggressive, but will try to sneak one of the other dogs food when they're not looking . A firm "Penny NO" and she leaves it alone.

Penny has found her forever home. She has been adopted by a couple with 2 children and has made herself right at home.
