Mr. Bingley is an 18lb. 9 year old boy.

My name is Mr. Bingley. I am named after one of the main male characters in Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." I am 9 years old but look and act much younger. Everyone that meets me tells me I am gorgeous and sweet.

I was turned into rescue by my former owners who could no longer care properly for me. I need donations to have a cardiac workup because of my heart murmur. I have never been on medication for my heart or the arthritis and sometimes I am a little creaky getting up from laying down. My foster parents have started me on a chewy pill that they say will help me.

I love to be outside in the fenced yard chasing bugs and birds. I am fascinated by and have been trying to catch a bumblebee but my foster mom won't let me. I love sleeping in bed with my foster family (dogs and people). I love attention, petting, and scratching, but I am not clingy.

I’ve had my cardiac ultrasound and things are a lot better that we though.  My Mitral Valve is very noisy and just by sound was rated at a 4, (on a 0 to 5 scale).  After looking at the ultrasound, I have a 1 with no heart enlargement.

I’m scheduled the first part of May to get my teeth cleaned and an overall checkup again.  Once that’s done, I’ll be ready for adoption.
