Birdie is an approximately
1 year old Min-Pin mix.
She was brought into SOAR
from AEC. She was hit by a car and no one came to claim her.
She has a fractured right rear leg. Not a solid break thankfully,
so for now she's on antibiotics, pain medicine and confined to a kennel.
She's allowed out to potty or lay on a lap.
Family Vet estimates 6
weeks of crate rest, then a x-ray to see how things are going.
Birdie's done great.
She's fully recovered from her fractured leg and has been spayed.
An older ladie in
Pennsylvania has adopted her. Birdie has a lap to sit there and
curl up on plus a back yard to run around it when the lady is back
there. That's what she loved to do here.
